My mother has had multiple illnesses during the past five years and has spent everyday nauseated and throwing up. She has no gall stone or gall bladder and has been put on so many meds that it has caused one ailment after the other. She is diabetic, has an auto immune disease, blood pressure problems, neuropathy, arthritis, ect...Now she has been diagnosed with pancreatitus and I'm wondering what the best treatment is so she can stop throwing up and being nauseated. She is tired and on the brinks of just giving up.

i am morbidly obese (5'9"-294 lbs)I have insulin resistant diabetes. In my treatment plan I am to take along with my Metformin 2 other drugs to aid in my weight loss BYETTA-and XENACAL. I also have neuropathy as a complication from the diabetes and am prescribed LYRICA. My insurance will not cover the XENECAL for it is a weight loss drug and considered a "frivilous" expense. Nor will they cover LYRICA for it is new on the market .Ineed these meds in order to live a productive life to help loose the weight so i will not be diabetic. I am 45. I want to live until I'm 75. With out these meds ,I could die in 5 years.
The cost of these meds are -XENECAL-0.00 for a 30 day supply
LYRICA-0.00 for a 30 day supply.

I am taking several prescribed meds from a Neurologist and I have had rather decent control of my diabetes over the last 20 years. I am looking for a non-conventional treatment. Do any of you have suggestions? Please give whatever references that you can. I will research whatever route you give me. Thank you all for the assistance! Have a wonderful weekend.

I am a type 1 diabetic. I am on an insulin pump now due to the fact my pancreas is completely shot. I have started to experience neuropathy in my feet. I have seen a few doctors and other diabetic people and will be at my endocrinologist soon. I have been told by many many medical professionals that a visit to a neurologist as well as new meds..possibly neurontin or other meds will be in order. I wanted to ask anyone who has diabetic neuropathy...what do you do? how have you made it better? what has made it worse? I know that lowering you sugar level (A1C) over time decreases the risks of it worsening but how do you deal once you have it? Im extremely worried I will become an amputee. Your guidance and knowledge will help me calm my fears. Thank you.
