Diabetic neuropathy pain management?

I have Type II diabetes. It is well controlled and my fasting blood sugar is 90 - 95 mg/dl (~5 - 5.25 mmol/l). I am on a severely restricted low carb diet (less than 50g/day typically). I am 173 cm and 66 kg for a BMI of 22. My body fat percentage is ~17%. But I suffer from severe pain from diabetic neuropathy. I have pins and needles all over, but especially in my hands and feet. I have glove-stocking numbness in one of my calves. I'm not dying. It's what it is. It's not getting any worse, but it's not getting any better. I can't, realistically, do anything differently from a dietary or medicinal perspective. But I would like to alleviate the pain. What is the best course of treatment (and please don't say homeopathy or some such brand of voodoo - it's going to take a lot more than sugar pills and the placebo effect to fix this). Ideally I'd be on a time-release opioid like Oycontin but I can't get it where I live, and there are of course addiction/tolerance factors to consider. There's only so much my doctor can do. I do not want pain to dominate my life.

The medicine that they gave me makes me feel horrible and it isn't helping me anyway. Please someone let me know what they do or use for treatment options.

My younger brother (Age-24) couldn't see things properly since he was 3 yrs old. Diagnosis from different doctors mainly reveals that it happened due to "Demylenating Neuropathy affecting B/L optic nerves with early secondary axonal changes". Now i am looking forward to the treatment of his eyes and this work has now become Aim, dream, wish, everything of my life. Any kind Doctor or knowledgeable person in this field who reads this, i beseech them to help me with a referral of relevant DOCTOR, HOSPITAL or PROCEDURE in India. I will be more than thankful to all of you and will always pray for your goodness to God...!

i was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 2 years ago and seem like ive tried a million different things and had serval different doctors, but nothing has worked yet. The pain has been getting worse. I hear about older people with this but have yet to meet anyone my age with it. I wish i could talk to someone else with it.

I am getting good sleep and stoped eating junk foods. Im drinking lots of water and just pretty much trying everything. And it only seems to keep getting worse.

Every morning i wake up so stiff and can barely move or get out of my bed. when certain joints are really inflamed they feel like a sprain or broken bone. My fingers hurt so bad after writing and walking down stairs takes me a while. I feel so old and sometimes i just cry thinking that i will get no answers.

Please give me some kind of advice. Thank you.
I also have a 2 year old and I need to get better to be able to take better care of him. Right now I depend on his dad so much with help and I just want to be a healthy mom. I cant even see myself having more kids at this point cause I dont know how id be able to have the energy. And Ive always wanted lots of kids. : (
